House System
To inculcate the spirit of democratic culture, to explore and nurture each student’s talent, to expose him/her to stage activities, the students have been divided into four Houses. The four Houses with their respective identifying colours are as under :
(i) Atlas Sandy
(ii) Dolphin Light Blue
(iii) Galaxy Dark Blue
(iv) Phoenix Orange Red
Due recognition is given to the house that excels in discipline, academic work, sports and extra curricular activities. Each House is headed by House Captain (Boy or Girl). A member of the staff assisted by several other teachers act as a House Mistress/Master.
The students are giver due representation. The House Captain is assisted by Vice Captain and House Prefects. The Captains and Vice Captains are responsible for inter-house activities as well as for the discipline of their House.
Selection of Prefects and Captains is based not only on their academic performance and participation in co-curricular activities but also on their overall discipline and respect showing to the elders.
